A group of students travelled to Manchester last week to take part in a fantastic media opportunity.

Paryss jade Bee, Chloe Foster, Stefani Salvatierra and Rebecca Torn all won places to take part in the Youth School Games in Manchester as part of the media team.

The girls had had to submit applications in school to win their place, as well as take part in media activities in school.

Huntcliff was one of only five schools from across the country selected to take part so it really was a fantastic opportunity for the girls and the school.

The foursome were treated to all expenses paid accommodation, food, full kit and were able to access all areas of the games.

As part of the media team they were trained in filming, presenting, journalism, interviewing, editing, reporting.

In the past the Youth Games have seen young Olympians making their first impact on a National Competition so this was a fantastic opportunity to not only meet future stars but also to be fully involved in what could become a career.
